A Facebook page tells you how many people liked a post. It does not tell you how many people looked at your business this week while deciding whether to come. Your ListGOPH listing does, and it tells you where they came from and what they looked at next.
The dashboard: this week at a glance
Sign in and the dashboard shows views over the last seven days as a small bar chart, today's count, the all-time total, and your top five listings by views this week. For a single-branch business that is one number to watch; for an owner with several branches it is the fastest way to see which one is drawing attention.
The visitor report: thirty days, visitor by visitor
Open Visitors for the full picture, scoped to your own listings only. You see your traffic and nothing else; other businesses' numbers and the parts of a visitor's journey that happened elsewhere on the site are simply not in your report.
| Section | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Daily chart | For each of the last 30 days, how many page views and how many different visitors |
| Today and all time | Unique visitors today and since your listing went live |
| Where they came from | The top ten referring sites: Google, Facebook, a blog that linked you, or direct |
| Visitor list | One row per visitor: first seen, last seen, how many views, and whether they were signed in |
| A visitor's path | Click a visitor to see the pages of yours they opened, in order |
If you have several listings, a filter narrows every section to one of them.
How a view is counted
Honest numbers matter more than big ones, so the counting is conservative:
- A visitor opening your listing page counts as one view per day, however many times they refresh it.
- Your own visits do not count. When you, your managers or your staff open the listing while signed in, nothing is recorded.
- A visitor is one browser. The same person on a phone and a laptop is two visitors, and a family sharing one phone is one.
Numbers are grouped by calendar day, so "today" resets at midnight.
Five things to do with the report
1. Find your weekday pattern
Thirty days is four of every weekday. If Fridays are always your busiest day for views, Thursday is when to post the weekend promo.
2. Check that a promo worked
Posted a pinned announcement on Monday? The Monday and Tuesday bars should stand out. If they do not, the promo was not seen where people are.
3. See where people come from
A referrer list dominated by Google means your listing is being found by search, and the description and photos are doing the work. Dominated by Facebook means your posts are sending people, and the listing needs to convert them. Both are good; knowing which is better.
4. Read a few visitor paths
A visitor who opened your listing, then your menu, then a competitor's listing, told you something. A visitor who opened three of your branches told you they were choosing which is closer. Five minutes of reading paths is worth more than the totals.
5. Compare branches
The dashboard's top-five table ranks your listings by views. A branch with half the views of another either has weaker photos or a harder-to-find pin. Fix the cheap one first.
Which plan includes it
The seven-day trend is on every owner's dashboard. The visitor report is part of the Featured plan, and Premium adds full listing analytics with export.
The numbers only move when the page is worth visiting. Start with a complete listing, then watch the report for a month.
