If you run a sari-sari store in Talisay, a dental clinic in Banilad, a pension house in Mactan or a carinderia along A.S. Fortuna, there is a good chance your business is already on ListGOPH. The directory lists more than 3,500 businesses across Cebu, many of them added from public map data, and every one of those pages is waiting for its owner.

This guide walks you through the whole thing: finding your page, claiming it, filling it in properly, and what you get for free versus what the paid plans add. Set aside twenty minutes and have a photo of your business permit or your ID ready.

Why a Cebu directory listing still matters in 2026

People in Cebu search the way they talk: "dentist near Banilad", "open now Mandaue", "pension house Mactan airport". A directory built only for Cebu answers those searches with Cebu results, not with a page of sponsored links from somewhere else.

  • You are found by town and category. Every listing is filed under a real Cebu town and a category tree that goes down to the specific trade, from coffee shops to salons and barbers.
  • The Open Now badge works from your hours. Set your business hours once and the listing shows Open Now or Closed on its own, in Manila time.
  • Reviews belong to your page, not to a social feed. A review from 2024 is still there when a customer looks in 2026.
  • One page, every channel. Your listing has a QR code you can print for the counter, a share link for Messenger, and its own spot on the Explore map.

Step 1: Check whether you are already listed

Go to listgoph.com and type your business name into the search box. Try the way customers write it too, so "Jollibee Ayala" and not only the registered name.

If a page comes up with your name, your street and a pin roughly where you are, that is your listing. It may have a short description that says the details came from OpenStreetMap and have not been confirmed by the business. That line is the invitation: the page is yours to claim.

If nothing comes up, skip to Step 3.

Step 2: Claim your listing

  1. Open your listing and click Claim this business.
  2. Sign in, or create a free account with an email you check. You will need to verify that email.
  3. Write a short message saying who you are and your role in the business.
  4. Attach at least one document that shows the business is yours. Any of these works: your business permit, a DTI or SEC registration, or a photo of your ID beside the storefront. You can attach up to five files of 20 MB each, as images, PDF, Word or MP4.
  5. Submit. The ListGOPH team reviews claims by hand and you get an email when the page is handed over.

Once approved, the listing appears in your account and you can edit everything on it.

Step 3: Not listed yet? Add your business

Use the Add a listing form. It asks for the essentials only:

  • Name, written the way it appears on your signage.
  • Category. Pick the most specific one you can. "Bakeries" beats "Restaurants" if you sell bread.
  • A pin on the map. Drag it to your door, not to the barangay hall. Customers navigate from this pin.
  • Online only? If you sell through Facebook or Shopee and have no shopfront, tick the online-only option and skip the pin.

New listings are checked before they go live, then you claim them the same way as in Step 2.

Step 4: Fill in the page properly

A claimed page with two photos and no hours does not convert. Aim for all of these:

FieldWhat good looks like
PhotosStorefront first, then interior, then your three best products. The Free plan gives you six gallery photos.
Business hoursEvery day, including the days you are closed. This powers the Open Now badge.
Phone and websiteA number someone actually answers. Add your Facebook page or Shopee store as the website if you have no site.
DescriptionTwo or three sentences: what you sell, who it is for, and one thing that makes you different. Mention your barangay and town.
Social linksFacebook, Instagram, TikTok, whichever you actually post on.

Step 5: Keep it alive

A listing is not a business card you print once. Post an announcement when you have a promo or new hours. Ask happy customers to leave a review. If you serve food or offer services, fill in the menu so people can see prices before they call.

What is free, and what the plans add

The Free plan covers one business listing with up to six gallery photos, customer reviews and ratings, business hours and contact details, and a spot on the Explore map. That is enough for most single-branch businesses.

Featured (₱499 a month) adds up to three listings, priority placement in search, a homepage Featured slot when available, listing badges, pinned announcements and a visitor report. Premium (₱999 a month) adds unlimited listings, staff accounts, full analytics with export, and the business tools covered in our tools guide.

Frequently asked questions

Someone else's photo or wrong hours are on my listing. What do I do?

Claim it. Once it is yours you can replace every photo and correct every field. If something needs urgent removal before your claim is reviewed, contact the team.

I have branches in Cebu City and Mandaue. One listing or two?

Two. Customers search by town, and each branch has its own pin, hours and reviews. The Featured plan covers up to three branches, Premium is unlimited.

Does the listing cost anything later?

No. The Free plan stays free. You upgrade only if you want the extra reach or the tools.

Ready? Search for your business, claim it, and give Cebu customers the page they are already looking for.
